Location: Cohen Children's Medical Center, New Hyde Park, NY

The newly renovated and furnished playroom is the setting for the hospital's creative art therapy and child life programs. Custom flooring, wall and window treatments, alongside the colorful palette, create a fun, inviting atmosphere for children staying at the hospital. They can enjoy music, art, books, toys, games, and just relaxing in the space with their families.

During the design phase, TWINE, in response to Donor requests, worked closely with Mythic VR to create multiple visualizations of the space. 360° video renderings were generated to help communicate key features, like the children's furniture, custom millwork, and virtual skylights, to the clients and hospital board members. After producing a virtual reality walk-through of the vibrant, activity-filled space, the project reached completion with all expectations realized.
